Enabling bespoke payment platforms with Business Smart

In our collaboration with Business Smart, we helped a leading Glasgow-based foodservice wholesaler launch a bespoke ordering app built specifically around their operations. The app gives their trade customers a quick, hassle-free way to place routine orders directly from their phones, cutting out tedious admin and streamlining the entire buying process.

Crucially, the app features EchoPay’s integrated Pay by Bank technology as a seamless checkout option. Instead of losing significant percentages of each transaction to commercial credit card processing fees on large wholesale orders, often times as much as 2%, payments settle instantly via open banking for just a few pence per transaction. It gives the client’s cash flow an immediate boost while slashing their transaction overheads—proving how smart software and modern payment methods deliver massive, bottom-line savings.
