Through a dedicated Pay by Bank button directly within the STL payment workflow, staff can instantly generate and send a secure payment request to a customer's mobile phone.
When the Pay by Bank option is selected, the customer receives a payment link via SMS or other configured communication channels, such as WhatsApp. The link takes them directly to our online banking environment, where they can authorise the payment using their bank's secure authentication process. Funds are transferred directly from the customer's bank account to the merchant without the need for card networks, reducing processing costs while maintaining a fast and frictionless checkout experience.
The integration is fully embedded within STL's Till and Central Cash ecosystem, allowing businesses to continue using their existing payment processes while benefiting from the advantages of Open Banking technology.
